Bayer Crop Science 2022 Grants4Ag Awardees

Summary:

Read about the 21 scientists from 9 countries who were awarded Bayer’s annual grants for researchers developing novel solutions in agriculture.

Grants4Ag is Bayer’s annual initiative providing funding and expertise to researchers developing novel solutions in agriculture. For the second time, Bayer partnered with Halo for Grants4Ag. The results built upon the success of the first cohort.

The Bayer Crop Science team received over 350 proposals and funded 21 researchers across 9 countries, including China, Canada and Colombia.

Bayer is in a tremendously fortunate position in that we have one of, if not the largest, R&D organizations in agriculture. But it’s very clear to us that given the complexity of the challenges and the diversity of the applications of agriculture all around the world, we can’t solve all these problems alone.

Phil Taylor, Global Open Innovation Lead at Bayer

The awardees were recognized for innovations spanning Bayer’s entire R&D lifecycle, with approaches rooted in biology, chemistry, data science and more.

Congratulations to the scientists! Read on to discover how their research will impact Bayer’s vision of #HealthForAll, #HungerForNone.
