Agricenter International

Agricenter International is a non-profit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee, that operates a 1,000-acre facility functioning as both an urban farm and a center for agricultural research and education. The organization provides a professional forum for the development, evaluation, demonstration, and marketing of advanced agricultural technologies and products. Its operations include a 600-acre research farm where staff conduct diverse field trials, ranging from pesticide evaluation and soil sampling to irrigation testing for various crops. Additionally, the campus serves as an AgTech hub, offering multi-tenant office spaces and research land to agricultural businesses, government entities, and organizations like the USDA and the National Weather Service.

This campus provides significant value by bridging the gap between agricultural innovation and community engagement. By hosting educational programs for thousands of students annually and supporting regional farmers through workshops and events, Agricenter helps sustain the agricultural sector in the Mid-South. Its research facilities serve over 80 global companies, helping them move products from discovery to launch while maintaining rigorous data standards. Furthermore, the organization acts as a regional community hub, providing accessible natural areas and event venues, which contributes to local economic development and promotes public understanding of the agriculture industry.
