Farm Minerals

Farm Minerals is an agricultural technology company that develops highly efficient, nano-based fertilizers and feed additives designed to enhance crop productivity and animal health. Their flagship innovation is the CropTab™ NPK, a low-carbon fertilizer tablet powered by precision-engineered carbon capsule technology. By encapsulating micronutrients within these capsules, the company offers a system that aims to maximize nutrient efficiency and promote sustainable, environmentally friendly farming practices. The technology seeks to reimagine fertilizer application by enabling significant reductions in the volume of product required compared to traditional methods, while unlocking nutrients already present in the soil and air.

The company focuses on providing growers with solutions that lower their carbon footprint without the need for external compliance fees or emission credits. By addressing the fundamental challenges of nutrient delivery through material science and first-principles design, Farm Minerals supports the agricultural industry's transition toward greater precision and operational efficiency. The company is currently scaling its impact by limiting early access to select growers and agronomy partners to refine its application guidance and field performance. Based in San Francisco and backed by investors such as IndieBio, Farm Minerals operates within the crop technology sector to provide alternatives to conventional agricultural inputs.
