farmAIr

farmAIr is an AgriTech company that specializes in plant stress management and crop protection. The company has developed a patented technology that combines thermal and visual (RGB) imaging with artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect biotic and abiotic plant stress at the leaf level. By analyzing these images, the platform identifies stress long before physical symptoms become visible to the naked eye, a capability the company describes as an MRI for agronomists. Its core service offerings include end-to-end drone surveys and a platform where users can upload their own imagery for AI-driven diagnostic analysis and georeferenced reporting.

This technology provides critical support to growers, agronomists, and agricultural enterprises by enabling proactive interventions, such as targeted irrigation, fertilization, and the precise application of pesticides. By identifying issues early—sometimes years in advance for certain trunk diseases—farmAIr helps customers secure annual production, reduce contamination costs, and improve resource efficiency. Originally established with a focus on vineyards, the company has successfully expanded its technology to other crops including apples, sugar beets, soybeans, and corn, aiming to enhance global food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices across various farming environments.
