JMO Ideas Inc.

Giftgowns, operated by JMO Ideas Inc., is a Toronto-based medical apparel company founded in 2016 by Jacqueline Moss. The company specializes in designing and retailing functional, stylish hospital and maternity gowns that serve as a practical alternative to traditional, utilitarian hospital wear. Their products are designed to enhance patient comfort and dignity, featuring shoulder and back snap closures for medical access, as well as integrated side pockets for personal essentials. These gowns are constructed from materials such as cotton and flannel, balancing the aesthetic appeal of loungewear with the clinical requirements of a hospital environment.

By addressing the emotional and functional shortcomings of standard hospital garments, Giftgowns provides products that help patients feel more comfortable and improve their morale during medical stays. The gowns are utilized by individuals in hospitals, during labor, and throughout recovery processes, and have also been expanded to include children’s lines and accessories. The brand has been recognized for its innovation in the healthcare apparel sector, offering a more personalized and dignified experience for patients and their families. Products are available through the company’s online retail platform, as well as through various hospital gift shops and charitable partnerships across North America.
