NANOTICA Agro

Nanotica Agro is an agricultural technology company that specializes in nanoencapsulation solutions designed to optimize the application of agrochemicals. The company has developed a proprietary technology that utilizes nano-sized capsules to encapsulate pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and microfertilizers. This process, often referred to as nanotization, allows the active ingredients to be released more effectively and with greater penetration into plant tissues. By providing farmers with a specialized machine and customizable nanocapsules, the company enables the in-situ encapsulation of products, which enhances their biological performance compared to traditional formulations.

This approach is significant for farmers and the agricultural industry because it enables the use of lower doses of chemical products while maintaining or improving crop yields and grain quality. By reducing the volume of chemicals required, the company helps producers lower their operational costs and minimizes the environmental footprint associated with agricultural runoff and soil contamination. The startup, which emerged from research and incubation within the Argentine scientific ecosystem, operates with a business model focused on making this advanced technology accessible for large-scale field use, aiming to promote more sustainable farming practices across various crops including soy, maize, wheat, and fruits.
