Neltume

Neltume is a Chilean agtech company that provides autonomous pest monitoring and control solutions for the agricultural industry. The company develops and operates remote sensing technologies, including solar-powered cameras, sensors, and intelligent traps, which are integrated with machine learning and artificial intelligence to monitor pest infestations and crop development. By utilizing phenological models and real-time climate data, Neltume allows farmers to track pest behavior and crop health remotely, helping them optimize the timing and application of treatments while reducing unnecessary pesticide use.

These solutions address significant operational challenges for growers, such as the labor-intensive and inaccurate nature of traditional manual trap monitoring. By providing precise data on pest presence and development, Neltume helps farmers improve productivity, enhance crop quality, and decrease the environmental impact of agriculture. The company collaborates with various public and private institutions and has expanded its services internationally to markets including the United States, supporting sustainable farming practices across Latin America and beyond.
