Ryzing Technologies

Ryzing Technologies is an engineering and research firm based in Staunton, Virginia, that specializes in the design, prototyping, and fabrication of engineered textiles and advanced mechanical structures. The company focuses on integrating textile solutions into non-traditional applications, such as rigid inflatable structures, soft robotics, shelter systems, and tensile membrane designs. Their engineering process involves a collaborative approach that moves from initial research and conceptual design to sophisticated structural analysis, custom testing, and iterative prototyping to ensure high-performance, scalable results for complex operational challenges.

The company primarily serves the U.S. military, government agencies, and commercial partners by providing solutions that improve efficiency and performance in field environments. Notable project experience includes developing inflatable sensor arrays for the U.S. Navy, creating rapidly deployable shelter platforms for the U.S. Army, and designing inflatable support structures for NASA. By offering specialized expertise in materials and rapid prototyping, Ryzing Technologies enables its clients to address demanding logistical or technical needs, such as reducing the transportation burden for expeditionary basecamps or advancing human-robot interaction through soft dynamic technologies.
