Salvivo Limited is a UK based health technology company building the global standard for dried saliva monitoring: a validated, paper-based platform for oral hydration assessment, standardised sample collection, and future multi-biomarker screening.
Our core product, FishburneTabs™, is a paper substrate device placed in the mouth for 30 seconds. It requires no equipment, no training, and no laboratory, saliva is absorbed into the paper, producing a visual readout or preserving the sample for downstream analysis. The platform is clinically validated, peer-reviewed, and already in active use in clinical trials.
We hold exclusive non-US commercial rights to the FishburneTabs platform, manufactured by our US partners FishburneMay LLC (USA). Our scientific work is underpinned by a government-funded metrological assessment partnership with the National Physical Laboratory (Innovate UK, 2026), a UK NIHR award, and by active engagement with an IHI EU oral health consortium.
Salvivo was founded by Dr Dale Athey and Professor Philip Preshaw, combining 30+ years of diagnostics commercialisation experience with 200+ publications in oral medicine and clinical research.
