SquairTech

SquairTech is a French cleantech company founded in 2021 that specializes in the development and manufacture of advanced porous materials known as Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for air purification. These hybrid-structured materials are engineered to capture and degrade harmful gaseous pollutants, such as formaldehyde and nitrogen oxides, to improve indoor air quality. The company's technology is designed to be highly selective, offering high storage capacity and the ability to be regenerated, which enhances the ecological efficiency and lifecycle of its filtration solutions compared to conventional adsorbent materials.

The company serves residential, commercial, and industrial sectors by providing innovative air management and purification solutions. By addressing pollutants that are often poorly managed by existing technologies, SquairTech aims to improve health and environmental comfort. Its work, which originated from collaborative research between the Paris Porous Materials Laboratory and the Catalysis and Spectrochemistry Laboratory, includes the creation of patented products like SQUAIR-1A and SQUAIR-2, and the company continues to engage in research and development to scale its MOF-based solutions for broader environmental applications.
