Theremia

Theremia is a precision medicine company that leverages explainable and causal artificial intelligence to optimize drug development within the fields of neurology and psychiatry. The company utilizes a large, longitudinal European patient database comprising over 1.5 million records to build predictive models that integrate molecular insights with patient-specific pharmacological characteristics. By analyzing these data, Theremia helps biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations characterize treatment responses, identify optimal patient populations, select appropriate endpoints, and design more effective clinical trials, ultimately aiming to reduce high failure rates in CNS drug development.

This approach addresses the limitations of traditional one-size-fits-all treatment models, where significant portions of patients often fail to respond or experience severe adverse effects. By enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the drug lifecycle—from early clinical strategy to post-marketing optimization—Theremia helps developers demonstrate the value of their treatments for specific subgroups. The company serves as a strategic partner to biotech pioneers, assisting them in de-risking their programs and bringing precision medicine to every stage of the treatment development process.
