Aim: Develop genetically transformed homeothermic plants that synthesize and release breathable Insulin with a self-regulating bioactivity based on variations in blood glucose levels. This R&D project is at the ideation stage and structured under three modular phases.

Immediate [Funding for phase I]: Proof of concept study to test the validity of using selected plants as sources of plain ("unadulterated") gaseous bioactive Insulin. Medium to long-term [Partnership]: Trans-institutional partnership for joint execution of the project activities.
