I am a Professor with a PhD in Genetics and 20+ years of experience studying monocyte and macrophage biology, immune regulation, and inflammation. My research integrates transcriptomics, molecular biology, and mouse models to uncover pathways driving chronic inflammatory and metabolic diseases. We focus on understanding and modulating immune and metabolic pathways using plant natural products and flavonoid-rich diets to reduce obesity and fatty liver disease and enhance cancer therapies.
