Palm Therapeutics is a San Diego-based biotech (JLABS-Resident) developing small molecule therapies that exploit the mechanism of protein palmitoylation to inhibit previously undruggable targets. Palmitoylation is an activating posttranslational modification that is essential for the function of many proteins involved in numerous pathophysiological pathways. Using targeted drug chemistry and a proprietary discovery platform, we have enabled palmitoylation-targeted drug development for the first time.
