I am looking for partners to support three initiatives: research on quantum algorithms for networks, an annual research workshop connecting academia and industry, and educational “math magic” programs that bring engaging mathematics to students from underserved communities.
About
I am a Professor of Mathematics at UC, Irvine, working in combinatorics, probability, and quantum algorithms. My research focuses on complex networks, random structures, and algorithmic methods, with connections to theoretical computer science, data science, and emerging quantum technologies.
My work has been supported by organizations such as the NSF, the Air Force (AFOSR), and the Sloan Foundation.
Alongside my research, I develop educational initiatives that make mathematics engaging and accessible through puzzles, games, and “math magic,” helping students discover the creativity behind mathematical thinking.
I am particularly interested in collaborations that connect advanced mathematics with real-world challenges while inspiring the next generation of problem solvers.
