The Laboratory of Enigineering Mechanics can contribute to the following applications: Surface characterization at the micro/nanoscale: Confocal (LEICA DCM8) and Atomic Force (VEECO Multimode IIID) microscopes. Non-destructive testing for elastic properties: Nanohardness Tester (CSM), and ultra-nanoindenter (Agilent G200). Tensile testing at microscale: Universal Testing Machine (Agilent UTM150). Material preparation/Metal coatings: Sputter Coater (LEICA EM ACE600). 3D printing of fiber-reinforced polymers: 3D printer (Anisoprint Composer A4). Selected experimental publications are given.
