Uncovering the molecular and metabolic pathways of freezing stress tolerance in pennycress through a multi-omics approach — linking gene regulation, metabolite shifts, and organelle dynamics to climate-resilient crop development.
About
My research explores the molecular basis of freezing stress tolerance in pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) using a multi-omics approach. I integrate transcriptomics, metabolomics, and stress physiology to identify key pathways, and use CRISPR gene editing to functionally validate candidate genes. This work supports the development of climate-resilient oilseed crops for sustainable agriculture.
