We are using Cadmium-tolerant bacteria (CdtB) to apply for a bioremediation strategy, hence, tackling the cadmium (Cd) issue in cacao crops from Colombia. We also seek the Cd distribution in cacao soils (both topsoil and subsoil), using geophysical techniques in contrasting soils dedicated to cacao.
