I investigated synthesis techniques for rare-earth intermetallics, Cu-Se magnetic insulators, and thin film magnetic compounds, particularly Cu₂OSeO₃ and EuAl₄. I developed pioneering thin film deposition and synthesis techniques, synthesized single crystals, characterized materials using XRD, SEM-EDS, AFM, Raman, UV-Vis, TGA, and investigated complex magnetic physics by AC and DC magnetometry, electrical transport measurements, and micromagnetic simulations. I alsoworked on a Sm-based permanent magnet, adapting a mechanical alloying method and working to implement a melt spinning system.
