Novel drugs for oral use in neuropathic pain, inflammation, & addiction; and topical use for atopic dermatitis, radiation dermatitis, skin rash and excess UV-B exposure.
About
Our clinical candidate KLS-13019 works by targeting GPR55, a human cannabinoid receptor which is responsible for the early onset of inflammation. Notably, KLS-13019 has demonstrated the ability to reverse CIPN in animals, making it a potential game-changer in an $800 million market with no FDA-approved treatment. Our topical candidate KLS-13022 (LEA) works on reducing inflammatory cytokines (IL-1b; TNF-a; and IL-6) in preclinical testing for skin related disorder.
