Introduction: My lab uses LC-MS, GC-MS and phytochemical approaches, metabolomics, genomics, gene cloning, protein expression, genetic transformation, gene editing and knockout, NMR, metabolite imaging, and other methods to dicover and engineer biosynthetic pathways of medicinal and nutritional natural products. My lab also interested in applying for our dicoveries to develop medicines such as anti-COVID and H5N1 medicines.
