Special attention is given to physiological, biochemical, molecular and plant breeding studies. My work has focused on the development of effective technology in plant production, soil management and conservation using organic and micro-organism and crop residue management. I have over 40 published articles (18 in high-impact journals as first author) and three book chapters. I have led two national state-funded projects to build the adaptive capacity of the farming community. I have been a keynote speaker and presenter of papers at 20 national and international conferences and workshops.
