Collaborations with industry, municipalities, and researchers to evaluate and advance soil- and water-based solutions that improve water-use efficiency, soil health, and climate resilience across agricultural, urban, and managed landscapes.
About
I am an Assistant Professor of Soil Physics at Tennessee State University in Nashville, where I lead a research program focused on soil hydrology, nutrient transport, and environmental remediation. My work bridges soil physics theory with applied solutions for agricultural sustainability and water quality protection. I completed my PhD in soil and water sciences and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Davis before joining TSU. My current research integrates laboratory experiments, geophysical methods, and field studies to understand how soil management—particularly conservation tillage—affects agricultural sustainability. My expertise spans precision agriculture, nutrient transport modeling, advanced soil characterization techniques, and sensor testing and deployments.
