Hamed Shahsavan designs soft active materials and surfaces that program shape, adhesion and wetting. His lab pairs responsive polymers with micro/nanopatterning and 3D printing to create reconfigurable actuators, advanced adhesives, coatings and microrobotic systems for biomedical use.
