I hold an M.S. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University’s School of Packaging and have experience in consulting, research, contract testing, training, and teaching related to food–packaging interactions and shelf life management. I serve as a technical expert to national committees under Malaysia’s Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, advising on food thermal processing, packaging compliance, food contact materials safety, and nanotechnology standards. My work supports industry in shelf life extension, regulatory compliance, material safety, and process validation. My research focuses on active and modified atmosphere packaging, packaging additives, and the valorisation of biodiesel by-products and agricultural waste for food packaging applications.
