I investigate host–microbiome–pathogen interactions using insect models to uncover process-level mechanisms of immunity and infection. Focus areas include nutritional immunity, antimicrobial peptide defenses, commensal resilience, and gut physiology shaping sex-biased responses, pathogen virulence, and disease outcomes.
