Research on fluid and particulate transport, with particular focus on computation and physics of fluid mixing, 3D vortex flows, and transport of adhesive particles. Recent applications include materials processing, physics of blowing snow, nanoparticle transport in hydrogels, biofilm growth and mitigation, sediment transport, and sustainable energy systems.
