About
I am a Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a Faculty Advisor at the Acceleration Consortium, developing self-driving laboratories for drug discovery. My work focuses on peptides and peptidomimetics, combining automated synthesis, affinity-selection mass spectrometry (AS-MS), and machine learning to enable rapid, closed-loop hit-to-lead optimization. I specialize in multi-objective optimization of potency, selectivity, permeability, and stability, particularly for challenging targets such as Gram-negative bacterial outer membrane proteins. My group builds scalable, data-rich workflows that reduce cycle time and increase design quality, generating datasets and preclinical candidates
