Detection and control of invasive DNA in plant cells
About
We study how foreign nucleic acids, e.g. those of viruses, transgenes, and transposons, are recognized and controlled by the host plant cell. We have devised new experimental methods detecting these foreign nucleic acids and are investigating the regulatory mechanisms controlling their invasion.
