I’m a Full Research Professor at IMGGE, University of Belgrade, specializing in molecular microbiology, lactic acid bacteria (LAB), probiotics, and microbiota–host interactions. My expertise includes LAB isolation, identification, characterization, probiotic/technological properties, antimicrobial activity, safety assessment, and mechanisms of action. Through LABbank, I offer access to 5,000+ autochthonous LAB strains from traditional fermented foods, complete with origin, identity, and phenotypic data. I seek collaborations with research institutions and industry partners with complementary expertise. I can help identify strains, accelerate functional screening, develop probiotic and starter cultures, and generate solid evidence for R&D and new product development.
