Strategic partners, particularly in the CPG space, interested in co-developing and validating mucin-inspired materials across human health, nutrition, agriculture, and microbial products. We are open to sponsored research, joint development, application-specific screening.
About
Tulip Biosciences is an MIT spinout developing a new class of synthetic mucin-inspired materials that restore and harness the protective functions of natural mucus. Our platform uses tunable glycopolymers to influence both sides of biological interfaces: protecting epithelial surfaces, supporting beneficial microbes, suppressing harmful microbial behaviors, and modulating inflammatory signaling. Tuilp's lead program targets bacterial vaginosis, but the platform has broad applications in gut health, agriculture, wound care, and other conditions involving disrupted mucosal or microbial ecosystems. We are looking to partner with organizations seeking differentiated biomaterials, microbiome-modulating technologies, and new approaches to protecting and delivering living biological systems.
