My primary expertise is in solid mechanics and constitutive modelling of materials, including: hyperelasticity, viscoelasticity, plasticity, large deformations. I also have expertise in micromechanical modelling, including mean-field homogenisation approaches for multiphase materials and composites. My most recent research directions addresses modelling at molecular scale using statistical mechanics and stochastic thermodynamics, with the goal of linking molecular phenomena in polymers to their macroscopic properties.
