Previously manager of the Crop Genome Engineering Facility at VIB, improving Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in maize and soy. Currently Professor Plant Biotechnology at Ghent Universit, leading the laboratory for Plant Transformation & Gene Editing with a focus on Agrobacterium engineering.
