My career goal is to develop data-driven and physically consistent approaches to modeling and designing programmable smart structures and robots.
About
I am an assistant professor at Arizona State University in mechanical and aerospace engineering. My research interests include physics-informed machine learning and the machine learning-aided design of programmable structures. My research approach emphasizes a synergic integration of machine learning into traditionally expensive simulations and experiments for nonlinear mechanics problems. My work has been featured in Physics of Fluids and Advanced Materials Technologies. I received an Early Career Fellowship from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in 2024.
