I am searching for sponsored research with commercial entities who would benefit from enhanced bi-phasic or multi phase mixing to purify, extract or react.
About
Leslie Wood received her master’s degree at Texas State University where her graduate thesis involved the synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel N-doping conductive polymers. She spent over ten years post-graduation providing materials chemistry support for SBIR/STTR funded research and development with an emphasis on surface modification and nanomaterial synthesis. She now serves as a Senior Scientist at VFT where she participates in Fiber Reactor chemical processing and commercial development. She was the primary investigator for the Immobilized Enzyme Fiber Reactor (IEFR) work performed to date and devised the immobilization method now utilized for the IEFR.
