Our line of research includes the study of nematophagous and nematicidal activities of fungal isolates and botanical extracts. Numerous studies have enabled us to select microorganisms as BCA and to determine compatible doses of botanical extracts as an integrated strategy for nematode control. We have also conducted physiological breeding of BCA and optimised physicochemical conditions for large-scale production. Their activity has been demonstrated in in vitro and in-plant assays under controlled chamber and greenhouse conditions. We are about to begin the field validation phase.
