My research targets prevention of age-related cognitive and metabolic decline through nutrition and lifestyle. Combining clinical trials, biomarker discovery, and risk modelling, I deliver evidence-based solutions for food, nutraceutical, digital health, and pharma industries.

I am seeking industry partners and sponsors to co-develop and fund research projects in nutrition, healthy ageing, and chronic disease prevention. I welcome collaborations on sponsored studies, clinical trials, product validation, and long-term strategic research partnerships.
About
I am Professor of Nutrition and Deputy Head of School at Curtin University, with prior appointments at MRC Cambridge, Newcastle, Nottingham, and the NIH. I am Editor-in-Chief of Nutrition & Metabolism and Honorary Professor at Nottingham.
My expertise spans nutrition science, vascular and metabolic physiology, sarcopenia, and dementia prevention, with distinctive capability in stable-isotope methodology, clinical trial design, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and risk modelling using cohorts such as UK Biobank.
I help industry solve a critical problem: translating complex ageing biology into validated, evidence-based products. I generate the mechanistic data, clinical evidence, and biomarker frameworks companies need to develop, differentiate, and de-risk healthy ageing innovations.
