Systems biology of aging and neurodegeneration

About

I am interested in understanding the mechanisms of protein misfolding, aggregation, clearance and toxicity, in particular in relation to (age-related) neurodegenerative diseases. In order to do so, I use human stem cell-based models, animal models, biochemical assays, and advanced microscopy.
