I am looking for strategic partners interested in implementing our engineering pipeline to improve their existing Agrobacterium strains or binary vectors for customer-specific transformation applications.
About
BasidioBio is applying synthetic biology to Agrobacterium to build a new generation of transformation tools with greater control over both the efficiency and quality of transformation events. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation remains highly variable, affecting not only transformation efficiency across diverse germplasm, but also transgene insertion number, sequence integrity, and vector backbone inclusion. Our team brings expertise from UC Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, with a track record of successfully engineering Agrobacterium for improved transformation outcomes. We are developing modern strains and vector systems designed to deliver more predictable, application-specific outcomes across diverse plant transformation workflows.
