I lead research and pilot campaigns at the Sustainable Emerging Technologies group at Western Research Institute, a nonprofit applied research organization in Laramie, Wyoming. I am a chemical engineer by training, with a PhD from the University of Wyoming, and my job is process de-risking and scale-up: designing, instrumenting, and running the pilot campaigns that sit between a promising lab result and a commercial decision. We have an inventory of process equipment allowing fast turnaround in project. We also offer Python-based process modeling that support scale-up decisions and cost estimates.
