Cellular concrete with CO2 as a heat-activated fire barrier
About
A seamless heat-activated fire barrier with pressured CO2 cellular concrete balls is invented to be attached to a sheet for battery packaging or directly filled in the spacing between cells. In fire incidents, the balls will break and release pressured CO2 which results in suppressing the fire.
