I aim to lead industry-sponsored research and build collaborations that expand the University of Tennessee's capabilities in advanced materials. My goal is to translate research into practical, high-impact solutions that deliver tangible outcomes for industry and society.
About
I have extensive experience working on industry-collaborative research projects through Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee, focusing on recyclable fiber-reinforced composites, vitrimer-based composites, and self-healing sealants and coatings. My research has also involved developing recyclable biocomposites, high-sulfur polymers, and converting waste materials into value-added biopolymers. Through these projects, I have collaborated with industry partners in the composites, adhesives, to address application-driven materials and manufacturing challenges.
