I am looking for solutions in advanced separation technologies using task-specific ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, and COF membranes for rare earth minerals recycling, PFAS removal, metal recovery from composites and novel projects which are multidisciplinary.
About
I am a Materials Scientist and Chemical Engineer specializing in advanced separation technologies for chemically aggressive environments. My research focuses on task-specific ionic liquids (ILs), deep eutectic solvents (DES), and covalent organic framework (COF) membranes for selective separations and sustainable materials processing. As a Postdoctoral Associate at Georgia Southern University on a DoD-funded project, I develop IL/DES systems for recovery of metals and fluoropolymers from composite waste. My Ph.D. work at UW–Milwaukee focused on COF nanofiltration membranes for pH-resilient ion selectivity and PFAS removal. I aim to translate scalable separation technologies into industrial solutions for semiconductor, environmental, and defense applications.
