I am professor of nutrition at the University of Illinois. My lab focuses on early life nutrition and impacts on neonatal immune, microbiome and neurocognitive outcomes. I also direct the Personalized Nutrition Initiative at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, which brings together interdisciplinary groups of faculty to conduct discovery research and clinical trials in personalize/precision nutrition.
