Our research focuses on studying mass transfer in packaging systems, such as food, beverage, and medical packaging, using fundamental principles and practical experiments, with an emphasis on environmental impact through environmental and toxicological assessments. We utilize cutting-edge detection methods, conduct predictive modeling, and perform experimental investigations to evaluate the migration or release of substances, including additives, polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), nanoparticles, and micro- and nano-plastics.
