An ATR-FTIR spectroscopy-based technique for identifying the biochemical composition of just 1 μL of blood serum with the potential to evolve into a non-invasive, accurate, cost-effective, and reliable diagnostic tool for home use, with a smartphone application for real-time analysis is proposed.
