Biotech of cyanobacteria: pigments and biofuels

About

Our group has been working on cyanobacteria for several decades, moving from functional genomics to biotech applications. We have generated cyanobacterial strains that excrete free fatty acids or their methyl esters. We are also working on thermostable phycocyanin, a bright blue pigment.
