Overview
Langbeinite (K₂SO₄·2MgSO₄) is a naturally occurring evaporite mineral mined from underground deposits in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Unlike muriate of potash (KCl), K-Mag provides potassium in sulfate form alongside magnesium and sulfur, all immediately plant-available. The low-chloride characteristic makes it preferred for crops sensitive to chloride toxicity.
