Company

Revysol® is an isopropanol-azole fungicide designed to overcome resistance challenges in older triazole chemistries, maintaining activity against resistant Septoria and Ramularia populations in cereals.

Overview

Repeated triazole use has selected for resistant Septoria tritici and Ramularia collo-cygni populations that reduce older molecule efficacy. Revysol's novel binding geometry at the CYP51 target site — enabled by its isopropanol moiety — maintains binding affinity against mutant enzymes. Registered for cereals, oilseeds, fruits, and vegetables globally.

Technical specifications
  • Active ingredient: mefentrifluconazole (Revysol)
  • Chemical class: isopropanol-azole (triazole subclass)
  • Mode of action: sterol 14-alpha demethylase (CYP51) inhibition (FRAC Group 3) with novel binding geometry
  • Resistance management: maintains activity against triazole-adapted Septoria tritici and Ramularia collo-cygni
  • Target diseases: Septoria leaf blotch, Ramularia leaf spot, rusts, powdery mildew
  • Crops: wheat, barley, oilseed rape, fruits, vegetables
  • Formulated products: Revystar (with fluxapyroxad), Revytrex, and other co-formulations
