Sentry Solutions is deploying a motion intelligence capability that introduces a new data layer into industrial operations—capturing how worker movement changes over the course of a shift and translating it into actionable indicators of fatigue, throughput variability, and injury risk.
Why this matters: while machines and processes are highly instrumented, human performance remains largely unmeasured. Fatigue and motion inefficiency are leading contributors to both productivity loss and workplace incidents, yet they are typically only identified after outcomes degrade or injuries occur. Advances in wearable sensing and AI now enable continuous, real-time monitoring of movement and fatigue signals, allowing organizations to shift from reactive management to predictive, data-driven decision-making.
How it works: small, wearable sensors capture motion data (e.g., acceleration, rotation, posture) which is processed through machine learning models to classify movement patterns and detect changes over time. These changes are analyzed to identify fatigue trends, inefficiencies, and elevated risk conditions, with insights delivered in an operationally relevant format.
Proof to date: the system is currently being validated in live industrial environments, where early data shows repeatable motion signatures across tasks and measurable drift in movement patterns over time consistent with fatigue-related changes. The data pipeline is successfully capturing high-frequency motion data in real-world conditions.
Next steps: we are expanding pilot deployments with select partners to further validate the link between motion patterns, fatigue, and operational outcomes. Pilot engagements are designed to deliver actionable insights within weeks and inform broader deployment, integration, and potential scaling across sites.
We are seeking partners interested in evaluating a new category of operational data—one that makes human performance measurable, predictable, and actionable.
